Valley Oak
While this project called for a complete overhaul of the space, we wanted to hold onto and enhance some of the magic that was already there. A little overgrown and wild, with clambering roses on an old arbor, a young squirrel-planted Valley Oak, and a spring blooming crabapple. There are new raised beds for sunflowers and tomatoes, a small patch of grass for Willa, the new dog, and a place to sit in the sun. The scent of musk sage overlaps with the old earthy redwood that towers in the back corner.
