Old Mill

Sitting in a hollow at the base of Mount Tamalpais, with nine adjacent neighbors, an intermittent spring, and a persistent raccoon, we set off to design a garden. We embrace the existing glorious Oak and stalwart Gingko and add a new Sycamore, Vine Maples and Redbuds to provide screening and privacy in selective spots. The kids chip in with their tool belts and sidewalk chalk, and soon the meadow hums with life.
